I wanted to think about what kind of person would be happy to be "rescued", and the obvious answer is someone who's lived a really hard life and just wants to rest and stop fighting, stop taking care of themself, stop putting on an act just to get what they need (respect, resources, etc)

i tried to make her yellow and pink instead of teal because. teal is what i always do. and the other two feighbors are already teal! but i hated every color combo i tried so i gave up and went back to my comfort zone 😂

Teal is just so good!!! And maybe all the teal feighbors are distant cousins or maybe there’s something in the local water or fungi that tends to affect skin/fur/scale/feather color. Or maybe birds of a feather just flock together. :Dc either way I love it and I love them all~ <3
