In a year or so I guess they will need more funding. There _are_ also other donors than the US.

Supporting Ukraine is a small price to pay for freedom and security.

Now, if Trump does better I'll be positively surprised. Also, it doesn't matter too much what Trump decides, as Ukraine still has good funding and will continue to resist the attack.
