Yw! You can read it if you want, but the best experience is listening to the audiobook. I started in December and have listened to all of them (he is writing book 8 right now) and read most of them! AND… I’m listening again. I have almost never restarted a series immediately.

I’m reading Mistborn now. (Listening to DCC and reading Mistborn! Lol) Diving into the Cosmere for the first time. Have you read any Sanderson?
