I didn't like it in this context, but have played Werewolves before and it works when it's from the start and only the seer knows what they are, but everyone knows someone could be the seer. If they do that, it might work better and not force one on one conflict.

I think if it was from the very start (or early) it would probably be quite good… but it was just way too big a change in dynamics to drop into the finale…

If they introduce it at the end of episode 9 and they don’t tell the players who the seer is (apart from the one they summon) then it has a chance. It ruined the ending for me.
