The government tries to limit the first amendment all the time. And remember this is just one problem. What happens if a user posts an antigovernment post? What happens when the government deems it terrorism? You could take down any site with some mass trolling. This is a framework to weaken the 1st
amendment. This also has a bunch of overlap with encryption backdoors. If the government mandates encryption back doors, this fundamentally is a violation of freedom of speech because code is intellectual property. GitHub could be liable for hosting the PGP source code. Repealing 230 is a bad idea.
