1) I do like it.
2) Energy shields seem like a great defense against alien attack, acidic blood, and, especially, face huggers. My money is on the elite.

nah they arent immune, facehuggers can melt through helmets and masks. Though they do breathe methane, so they may end up suffocatingbefore they can be a host.
