So many people are scared, and yet I can't help but feel it all seems too barbaric to be true. I honestly don't believe Trump can get away with the whole genocide BS. That's unconstitutional, and against the Geneva Convention. He'd have a bigger bounty on him than he already has if he does.
My belief, and hope that all these fears are the result of fear mongering, and that he won't actually take any rights away. If he does, I'm sure people will stand up to him. Even the cartels would want in on that bounty, given how he's spoken about Mexico.
I couldn’t agree more. As some one who was AFAB, I’m trying not to panic. The talk of “basic human rights” has APPARENTLY not been important enough to consider when voting whose hands our rights will land in 😭
I really hate him too, but no matter how many people tell me he's going to wipe out all LGBTQ people, it all just feels like something out of a horror movie, like a worst possible scenario. I feel it's fear mongering that got people riled up. I could be wrong, but I hope it's fear mongering.
I’m trying to be happy about the handful of positives for yesterday- hapoy to see a trans person elected to congress and two black female senators at once for the 1st time! Our two 1st muslim congresswoman both held their seats too. I pray we all survive to spite them AND survive/outlive bigotry

There are things that he should and he'll do, others don't, but in the end nothing is gonna change too much
