Lots of evidence that psychometric measures of vaccine hesitancy/vaccination readiness, such as the 7C scale of vaccination readiness (https://vaccination-readiness.com/), relate to respondents' self-reported vaccination intentions. We surveyed about 3,000 Danish parents to assess their vaccination readiness with the 7C scale for parents (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.vaccine.2022.04.091). We correlated parents' vaccination readiness with their children’s actual vaccination uptake, recorded via official Danish registry data. (3/5)

There was a substantial link between parents' vaccination readiness and their children's vaccination history. A one-point increase in parents’ vaccination readiness score doubled the likelihood that their child had received the three main vaccines in the vaccination program. (4/5)
