Chiming in to say I'm pretty sure these are sanderlings, too! I'm further up the Lake Michigan shoreline (in northeastern WI) and have been seeing lots of sanderlings near the shore lately.
A mourning dove on the left, common to my region in Canada, & a white-winged dove on the right, common to Southwest USA, cities & suburbs of Texas, & the coastal Southeast. This was my one & only sighting of a white-winged dove, which visited my safflower seed feeder for just 1 day in May/23. #Birds
That was in the first few days she was there and the neighbors were letting folks in their back yard, yes? I got this banger there. I mostly went in the morning before the crowds. Last day I left 5 minutes before she flew away forever :'(

The birds will take over.

The one time we had mountain bluebirds come to sea level… we also had a vermilion flycatcher as well! 🪶
