The fear overtaking some who feel AI art does look good is concerning. But what AI art doesn't have is human compassion and the ability to show improvement and change of style, to try out varieties of genres and categories, and the ability to strive for more.

The AI art I've seen has this same look to them. A lot of the same poses, the style doesn't evolve even when it uses different filters, how lifeless the image looks with the lack of personality and dynamism.

I can't get behind that.

100% agree, and I have full faith that we will still see the difference. Even if it gets as “good”, people will know it’s not human connection. You can’t fake someone’s life work, and human improvement is worth it. There are some things automation just shouldn’t replace.
