I survived an extremely rare cancer due to research funded by the NIH. Without the treatment they developed the cancer I had is 100% fatal. They’re killing people to give more money to them and their rich friends. Killing Medicaid will have the same impact.

Medicare is Healthcare for seniors and disabled. Medicaid is supplemental insurance for those below a certain income level. Unfortunately, many seniors also receive Medicaid in addition to Medicare as Social Security does not pay a living wage, and many have no pension plan and cannot work anymore.

I was on Medicaid since Covid. Ended up with congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy and list of other problems it left in its wake. I finally got my disability after 22mos and they tossed me off Medicaid and cut my snap benefit to 23 bucks a month.

Medicaid saved my life. I would be dead by my own hand had I not been able to access mental healthcare when my life seemed unlivable and I had lost everything. Medicaid was my only asset. It was my lifeline. I am alive because of Medicaid.
