It really is. A point I forgot earlier is about companies drilling oil and gas from the ground and making tonnes of money. The carbon front these is emitted to the atmosphere and governments (and taxpayers) are fined billions for missing climate targets.

People who go into business with indigenous/earth-centered cultural norms and practices find creative uses for their wastes/excesses.

I can't believe the amount of resources/money we are spending on 'regulating' tech (and formulating ways to regulate) that is largely beyond (effective) regulation, not wanted nor needed and should just be thrown in the bin. Just WHY???
