I will say again I wasn't trained by the church. My degree is in history and politics, part of which was an understanding of philosophies that guide men/womens thoughts. I have faith in Jesus because it was given to me. I can live with so called gods and their followers hating me,my faith is intact

And if you truly have a degree in history, you should know better than to say the Bible is a history book. Even historical fiction must contain some historical facts in order to establish context. I also have a degree in politics and history and a JD. You’re not doing well here.

Why, tell me the history fact you disagree with. The main body of "facts" are in Samuel 2 books, Kings 2 books and Chronicles 2 books. Would you like to tell me that the Romans did not murder Christians, both in and out of the arena.

Again, because it’s demonstrably true that the Romans did in fact, murder Christians and forced them to fight as gladiators, why would I disagree with that? What does that have to do with whether your religion is true and your god is real?

I did not say it was an history book, I said it was inspired. So it covers many genre's History, poetry, prophesy, narrative, wisdom. Just so you are aware, Im not Catholic, Im an Evangelical Anglican, who probably is closer to the Westminster confession for my doctrinal beliefs

You are absolutely trained by the church, you repeat their curriculum daily, and you have no proof it’s true. You believe on the basis of your emotions. Faith can’t be given— it’s created by you personally because it comes from your feelings. It’s a result of grooming.

I'm absolutely not. Of course I have emotions, so do scientists by the way. My faith was given, it is that old nugget about being born again. I cant prove that either. Im not a creative person trust me.

Demonstrate that your scripture is objectively true and can be corroborated in every aspect. Then it’s worth reading. If you can’t do that, might as well cite Harry Potter.

You can’t prove it because it isn’t true. It’s a story invented by an institution for profit that you were coerced into believing via emotional manipulation. You are 100% trained by the church. If the story were true the church and religion wouldn’t be necessary to convince everyone.
