In Trump's America cruelty is the point. And nothing is more cruel than the abuse of children.
In US courts migrant children as young as 4 are being put on trial without legal representation and subject to arbitrary deportation.

.... because they didn't realize that when you hear 99% negative that you ignore the 50% or so who are on your side b/c they say nothing.

Some of us need more people to say something and to be good so that we know you're all still around. That goes for more things than just me.

So make sure you speak up against what they're doing if you're against it.... then others will realize it's OK to feel that way and feel empowered to speak up also when they normally won't... it will grow.
