Mathematically it's anything but "nigh on impossible", with 12 games left. But yeah, we've given ourselves a lot to do.

I guess a month ago I couldn't pick even one side we'd finish above, now there are two...?

It is, because of who is playing who.

Of course, we could go and win all our games.

But realistically, when you do the maths of the points that will necessarily picked up by the teams around, it’s looking like high-40s at best. More like last season’s total.

I'm going 48 points does it. Whether we're good enough to get there, I've no idea. Well, I've got a decent idea that we won't, but that can change if we get one or two unexpected results from somewhere.

Could be a lot less than 48 for someone like Cardiff. But for us it’ll be more like 50 I reckon.

If Hull win their next 2 (Cardiff; Argyle) they’ll be 9 clear of us (+gd). If they lose them both they’ll be only gd ahead but Cardiff will be 3-6 points ahead.

MUST beat Hull now.
