Hello! Glad to see you over here. Question, I know embedding links into a reply on Twitter or a comment over on the book of face was developed to thwart the feed algorithms. Since BlueSky is open source I'm wondering if that is still necessary?

it is not.

There is no "algorithm" for the main feed, and people can generate their own. It's conceivable that the "Discover" feed which bsky-the-company runs, could downweight skeets with links, but I don't see a reason why they'd do that: this isn't an ad-driven platform.

A big YIKES if Trump decides to try for "permanent adjournment", a conflagration would ensue, burning the Constitution to embers.
