Every Democrat should start referring to Elon as “President Musk” and Trump as “First Vice President.” Not only does it accurately reflect the dynamic right now, it makes it obvious to everyone. It will also anger Trump, and hasten the inevitable falling out between these two narcissists.

I continue to think Democrats should calmly vote against everything the GOP proposes and otherwise stay on the sidelines for a while. Let the dysfunction happen so voters can see it and feel it. Why howl about saving democracy? No one is listening anyway.

A lot of Americans, regardless of party, think that there is waste in govt. We have to stop being the party that denies voter’s reality. Why not proactively suggest some areas that are wasteful? Oil subsidies, no bid contracts, etc. Show the people we hear their concerns.

He should have started with this instead of going after marginalized groups in the immediate aftermath of the election. He probably will have to work at gaining some trust back from rank-and-file Ds. That said, I’m completely in agreement with this assessment.
