We need the funding to NIH and other science back. I have a rare disease and the research is being funded by them. There’s no drug for it currently and people die of this disease. Children and teens.

We’re a country of norms where the founders assumed each branch would act with a sense of autonomy. If the legislature refuses to act in response to a lawless executive, we’re somewhere new. The court doesn’t have an Army.

Right. People insisting on being gloomy no matter what. To insist that things are just as bad as before the good news is not accurate. The same people dooming would have predicted this positive ruling was impossible, or if it ruled in Trump's favor said, "told you, we're doomed."

These are not convictions of Trump. They are just stopping him from breaking the law, and in some cases they have literally stopped him, for now. I'll take it. I do agree that more needs to be done, but that's different than some of the commentary I see which is like "this doesn't matter."
