An exciting South Lakes lunch time, counting duck when an adult female Marsh Harrier appeared. She stooped at once and then sat in shallow water in a reed margin, shifting slightly, for about 3 minutes before rising and flying into the reeds with a Mallard she had drowned with her weight.
