We can barely stall cabinet appointments—we don’t have the votes in Congress. Right now, our best stopgap is the courts, but even then, the administration seems perfectly fine ignoring court orders.

Unfortunately, they won't be successful in the mid-terms, because they will continue to alienate middle class and moderate voters. I am all about equal treatment under the law, women's rights, LBGTQ+ rights, and reasonable gun control. But prioritizing that over starving kids ain't gonna fly.

If starving kids are the biggest priority, why do Republicans consistently block policies like universal school meals, child tax credits, and expanded food assistance programs? Democrats have championed these programs along with social justice issues, it’s not mutually exclusive.

Look. I am a never-trumper and always have been. I'm not saying the progressive movements causes are wrong. Just that they have not prioritized what gets them elected. Some things are better done quietly. The republican party is basically a criminal based organization. Led by a con man.

Right now the dems seem to care about nothing except LBGQ+ rights, and in some cases push these rights as superceding anyone else's rights. Fact is, your or my rights end where the next person's begin. You have to respect ALL people's rights in the process.

You can't accomplish ANY of these things to ANY degree if you can't get elected to begin with. The dems have to get their priorities straight. And sell that message. I don't think they are capable of doing that. And they can't get elected if YOU don't get out and vote.
