sakana tojo is by a mile one of my favorite fluff smut authors. like the plot structure is frequently tissue paper but the characters are given so much love, and the smut is truly sloppy and gross and unrestrainedly horny.
there's also a specific nuance to the characters. like they're not necessarily "complex" in a way i think most people would recognize, but they do actually have a quiet sort of depth.
