Hard to see a situation where the Giants keep their current GM after everything that transpired. And then tough to see a GM come in that doesn’t get to decide the HC. All of this is to say if Belichick wants this job, I think they would do whatever to give it to him.

Mara has already said Schoen & Daboll have his support. This next season will really dictate their futures but Giants brass knows they inherited Jones and he wasn’t their guy.

Belichick only makes sense for a team that’s close to winning. His style is too old school and a good fit for Giants now.

Was he that good of an OC? I certainly remember complaining a shit ton about his play calling. We were good during his time here because the Josh and Diggs connection was out of control at the time. He wasn't creative at all. Josh and Diggs were able to essentially make his play calling a non factor
