Why is no one discussing Matt Nagy as a Chief issue… this is his 2nd year as OC and their offense had been flat for both. It’s not like he did a stellar job in Chicago
They haven’t had any decent WRs both years and had a bunch of injuries this year. Also, he was their OC during some of their most explosive years (which is how he got the Bears job). And, importantly, it’s Reid’s offense. He needs help, but the help shouldn’t be making or breaking the offense.
They’ve lost a ton of talent each year on the OL. They’ve tried to replace it in both free agency and the draft but it hasn’t worked out yet. Taylor is good, but he gets so many penalties and he’s always been like that.
O'Connells always been good from the pocket. I dare say if he could run a 4.6 or better 40 more folks would believe in him...even though often this skill/ability DOESN'T play a role in games decided at the highest level. Mahomes ran a 4.8 or worse btw I think.
How many times has sports media promised us that every sub-4.6 40 time guy was the next revolutionary thing in the NFL ? ALOT. Theyve been right exactly twice up until this point. I think Kylers average to good depending on the day, far from "revolutionary"??
I would also like to add that it ( QB scrambling, and rushing) doesnt even seem to play a role week to week on any consistent basis ,except for TWO guys in NFL history. Mike Vick, and Lamar Jackson. I think its something of a gimmick because big boys HIT HARD. Not everyones built like :
