Feel like the media and fans overrate draft picks. Pearce seems like he was the guy they wanted in the first round and Walker falling threw them for a loop. They did what they needed to do get their guy.

Do you find it weird that the Bears haven't taken a running back yet? I have a feeling that after the OSU backs went off the board, they were probably targeting Skattebo before New York took him. That messed up their plans.

I get it, Pearce has traits that are unique. Trading a future 1st to trade into the mid 20's is just a massive amount though. However, you have to believe that they had both Pearce and Walker in the Top 10 on their board. Go get your guy.
