more interesting question: how many ways does white have to lose this game? because e.g. Qxg2 is not a loss, neither is a nothing-move like Qe8.
Qf3 is a loss, but i'm sure there's more.

I think you might be reading the ranks backwards. Black is gonna queen next move or two if you don't forcefully stop it. Eg, 1. Qxg2+ Kxg2 2. K
h1=Q => forced mate in about 10 moves.
