well I know I could, once you hit a certain age a lot of desires start to fade away. I don't want to climb Mt. Everest or yacht across the Pacific. even though I can easily afford it I don't even want a 75" TV or 70K SUV, I also don't want to fly anymore or sit in a car for hours.

Yeah, I dream of stuff like that. How many nice things we could make! And sometimes, progress is made like when community gets cash and makes cool centers. But the government used to do this! You should see the housing projects near me. Built in the 40s, 50s, 60s…VERY NICE PLACES. And rec centers!
i don't begrudge someone like Stephen King having a billion dollars. if he sells a billion books why shouldn't he get that money? it seems to me he gets his satisfaction in life in writing stories, that the wealth enables him to devote his life to doing it what he does with his money is his business
