I think you can argue that this team is not giving you the evidence that they are worth investing important assets into.

There's very few bright spots this season. It's not like they're on the brink of contention, despite the middling playoff record.

LBJ and AD are box office. Not going anywhere. And having them means you always have a chance in the playoffs.
