1)Discovered that blocklists are public for any third party app, aka; red carpet for b0t farms, scammers, stalkers to barge in, bypassing the blocks. 2) Is very lonely in here, like the other place. Feels like talking alone. I am evaluating if it's worth the time, no decision taken yet.
Yes, it allows blocked users to stalk, harass and in case of b0t farms, target entire categories of users. Single individuals can always create new accounts even with solid blocks, but what worries me is those big farms that have plenty of money to access blocklists and shuffle thousands of new acc.
Not to mention yes, revenge harassment, predators of all types, scammers and a-i scrapers, on top of not knowing who are these misterious third party apps. I know internet is never 100%safe, but another thing is giving this easy bypass to the scum we have seen already elsewhere.
Yeah I feel like the internet is slowly dying over it and its such a shame.
Thinking seriously here for a moment, do you have any ideas on what might be a good solution that lies within one's own power? I have thought of paywalls before, but that'd make marketing a lot more difficult.
Knowing that huge hole in the safety/security , i've deleted the art i've uploaded and i am not feeling motivated in running the risk , regarding art sharing.
I have also taken down my art once I had a bunch of bots following me - but I am so glad I had taken protective measures beforehand to mitigate any potential damage.
If you leave the platform, is there any other way for us to stay in touch? I'd like that, if you don't mind of course.

It can get lonely, I don't mind it personally but I don't disagree if you feel like it isn't worth it maintaning a social presence over it.
