I thought you liked Bernie. I like some Progressives. There are good, caring people in the Party. Unfortunately, I think an Independent vote is a throwaway that will help the bad guys. Independents have problems with fundraising, and candidates need tons of money to reach voters.

Ross Perot got 18.9% of the vote in 1992 and he was a bit of a crackpot. It's doable if people want it. @mcuban.bsky.social
Actually, my preference is Pete Buttigieg. He’s brilliant, well-informed, affable, and virtually unshakable in a debate. Of course, being Gay would torpedo him with some, but I would vote for him in a New York Second
I love Pete, but I do have concerns about electability. I'd like to see him spend some time in the Senate, showing he's a "regular guy". Sad but true in 2025. If he ran though, I'd vote for him.
