We honestly didn’t have a good party chairman until Clayton Anderson took over. The Dems did take the horrid redistricting to court. But the GOP State Supreme Court ruled against the Dems. I think it still may be headed for the federal courts post-election.

Wasn't that lawsuit happening regardless of who was the chair?

If Anderson Clayton was chair in 2022, they keep the courts easily.

If she was chair in 2020, the Dems probably get a branch of legislature and partial right to redistrict.

That was what I was trying to say. We had weak state leadership when the awful redistricting issue first got underway in the legislature. I don’t know that we would have kept the courts easily, but certainly we would’ve had a much better shot at it.
