eventually its story is tied to the demolition of the Robert Taylor Homes and now this once vibrant high school is used as a shared campus
Timuel Black, Ella Jenkins, and John Johnson attended, among so many others
and for CPS, it was the first school to be connected to the internet, Principal Mingo worked with NASA in order to fund the project
