Finished my first book of the year already (A Separate Piece, John Knowles). It was only a couple hundred pages but it has been a helluva twenty-two days and my brain has needed some time to just not. Five stars. Would recommend.

I had never read it until now but I’ve had a copy for ages. It was much better than I anticipated. There were several “did I read that right?!” moments that I quite enjoyed.
