Louisiana state troopers on Monday (Jan. 13) began notifying residents of a state-sanctioned unhoused encampment under the Pontchartrain Expressway that they will soon have to relocate, per an order from Gov. Jeff Landry.

Landry cited the Super Bowl as one of the reasons for relocation.
