In Factorio, UPS (updates-per-second) is often the more important metric, as FPS is often times tied to your UPS if the system is being strained enough.
So you can have a beast GPU, but if your CPU/RAM can't keep up with Factorio's memory-intensive engine, your UPS/FPS ultimately go down.
I remember playing x-wing on a 286 pc which couldnβt handle the later missions. Then upgraded to a 486 and everything was too fast since the game ran on cycles not the clock.
No just playing it as is. Iβll move on to newer games. I couldnβt afford a computer that could run Half Life when it was released. So Iβm treating it is a nostalgic indulgence.
