My unpopular Star Trek TNG take is that Pulaski is actually a much more interesting character that season 1 Crusher, but she wasn't as hot as Gates McFadden (is anyone) so they pulled that back

I saw this as a Beverly fan. I love her. Gates McFadden is an absolute talent and a wonderful cast member, and in future seasons her character gets a lot of development. But not in season 1, it's "I'm a mom" this and "where are my doctor callouses" that
