#mastodon needs to make 2000 chr standard. 500 is better than bluesky but barely enough to make a point.

Fully agree! I never understood techs love for MicroBlogging with character limits anyway, but yes I fully agree! I can't tell you how insufferable it is to read a 30 post thread on here broken up into 500 character chunks. @im_mark_aylward
