Absolutely. And most of them have deteriorated beyond readability.

That's understandable
Although I thought they let you drive around for decades with "L.A.F."

Have the state parks plate myself. Doesn’t quite live up to the loon plate’s standards.

Now you want to see a good looking plate? Wisconsin’s sesquicentennial plate was so good.

I'd bet most states do now. I road trip a lot and see so many. I might have to do a tally.

Little suspicious of this graphic. Has Iowa twice (current and old) and that’s not the “base” Utah plate.

Think these are just plates printed by 3M or that use their film.
But you know what could go wrong with a URL on a plate.

I don’t think that’s an exhaustive sample of current plates, that Minnesota plate for example doesn’t have a URL.

We borrowed this one from Iowa, but it looks good and does not have a web address on it.

Of course, there are the high-quality, minimalist "whiteout" plates, reserved only for an elite group of drivers (those with DUI offenses). Too bad this simple scheme is not available to us all.

Classic. But then in the late 80's I'm guessing someone started a committee. Nothing says 'committee' like making something that looks like everything else, but worse.
