This is the historical seat of the KKK in MI. The community struggles to eradicate the influence of the Klan. In July 2024 a white supremacist group marched through town; a week later pro Nazi & pro Trump signs were hanging from bridges. Trump held a rally in Howell in Aug 2024.

About 100 ppl turned out in RED Livingston Co at the courthouse in my small hometown of Howell, MI. The vast majority of passing traffic honked and waved in solidarity!
