Suppose a lot of tech-minded people have a more positive view on technology and "its promise to change the world", than on politics which can often seem dirty. They don´t realize that we already have all the technology we need for a perfect world but the distribution of power (politics) prevents it.
I guess part of the problem with America is everyone believes they too can one day be “price insensitive” and “economically insensitive”, and because of that, vote against their best interests.
What's insane is not only do I KNOW that will never happen for me but I NEVER want that to happen to me. It sounds gross. Even if I won a huge Powerball jackpot, I couldn't just spend whatever on things. And hoarding all that wealth would make me physically ill. I'm no saint, but I just couldn't.

I still can’t imagine caring what he thinks about anything.
I am proud to be related to Charles Dickinson who shot Andrew Jackson. Dickinson was a hot headed ass, but Jackson was responsible for so much damage it would have been better had he lost that duel.
Damnit 2 hell. This man is truly stupid. Jackson also had dictator vibes. Trail of Tears. Lover of Tariffs. Crashed the damn economy with dumb ass PET banks 🤦♂️
Money in politics led to political money in Facebook led to ::waves arms::
This gear makes the case that Joel Klein was one of the biggest agents of change at FB, which means he was one of the biggest agents of change for the US (see: Kavanaugh hearings, which I’m sure will be discussed in a bit)
On the next page: Joel Klein, who was a part of the “Brooks Brothers riot” and whom George W Bush dubbed “angular dude”, seems to have been just as bad for America as Zuck and Musk and Trump.
No morals. No ethics. Only “winning.” To the point of doing illegal shit.

Oklahoma was then opened up to more white settlers. What happened to the treaty?
