nosferatu was everything i wanted in a horror movie. the psychological impact of an evil being like orlock on ordinary people isnt usually communicated so well

I absolutely loved this movie. Went to see it on New Year's Day on my own and was not disappointed. Eggers knows how to make a movie, and some of the shots were utterly gorgeous. He could nail a Bloodborne movie if there were ever to be one!
I know they'd likely want to make an action extravaganza, but how cool would it be to make a more sombre, understated character piece. I'd be all over that. The world building and stylistic tendencies of someone like Eggers would be perfect for that
