it's tremendously difficult to pull off but one thing i miss from baldurs gate 3 when playing other games is interacting with Switches for doors/traps/etc with my projectiles

Big plus one to this. I am very jealous of that game for this feature (among others) as it opens up so many possibilities for how to diegetically interact with the environment without going through the UI. I would want to use this for soooo many hidden features or effects if it were more easily done
now that i think about it, the only other game i play regularly that i think has this is minecraft (with the addition of the wind charge which can activate trapdoors, levers, buttons, etc.). but i agree, it's such a good mechanic.
