Really interesting. But my EV lease cost is less than what I used to spend on petrol so an EV pays off immediately. A heat pump will take about 15 years to pay off (using Heat Geeks own calculator). Cost nearly £10k. Not so obviously a good investment at my age (similar vintage to you!)
