I agree. Democrats need to move left, not right. Stand up for trans rights, Black Lives Matter, & ending the genocide in Gaza. Energize people, get them to believe in hope for the future again!

Tbc, Trans rights are human rights. However a majority of Americans are uncomfortable with Transgender issues and it is a wedge issue even within the LGBTQ community. The right weaponized this with disinfo and amplification. Rep. Mace & Repubs would love if we made this issue our primary focus.
I think even more than left or right it’s about taking a position and sticking with it and advocating for it long term instead of just trying to move to the electorate. And to be big which in my mind usually means being progressive. We can’t wait until a campaign starts to get people to care
It's not going to immediately disappear on Jan. 20, if that's what you're asking. The people of Gaza will continue to exist and to suffer at the hands of Israeli oppression. And even if Israel succeeds at wiping out the Palestinians in Gaza, there's still the West Bank -- no reason to quit fighting.
Best of luck. I’m following the lead of black women on this one. You see I now have my own very serious survival plan to worry about. I’m sad for them. I don’t have any extra bandwidth to do anything about it anymore.
Move left and get younger. No more baby boomers. Worst generation ever, including members of my family. (Not you, mom). Don’t just SAY you support things, get inconvenienced. Add more judges to the Supreme Court. Be radical. At least we’d have something to root FOR. MISS MEALS. PROTEST.
Why is no one in the streets? Why is no one threatening to strike? What would AMAZON, or Walmart, or any corporation do if no one showed up to work, or to shop? We’d have them by the balls. Think about it.
I don’t think Dems need to be more moderate than they are right now, but they need to make sure their messaging resonates with broad sections of the population, not just the “elites” or tiny groups with super-specific needs/interests.
Totally agree, the recent literacy reports support this too. With 50% of the pop under a 6th grade reading level, they need to adjust the words they choose and how they deliver that message.
If you put those messages at the forefront of your policy lists, it’s not gonna fly with the already awfully polarised general public. One of the reasons why Trump won was because HE was talking about those issues all the time, in negative light. They should stay in convo but not be at the centre.
