I forget how that extension rule works. Not saying it’ll happen, but how does a club file for an extension in a transfer?

I’ve always assumed there are clear rules but the governing bodies just decide on the fly how lenient they’ll be.

To be honest the premier league facilitates these deals. They can go into the early hours. But we need to get a deal in place to even ask.

Clubs have to submit a deal sheet by 23.00 GMT today then have 2 extra hours to fully complete deal.

I think just the offer sheet needs to be signed - that other stuff can happen after.
