We have 6% of the followers here compared to the 100k in X. The vite 6.0 announcement in bluesky already got half the reposts and a third of the likes. And most of the comments and quotes from OSS maintainers happened here. I don't know about other communities, but OSS web dev is a bluesky game now.

Being able to sort folks into different feeds will help drill down on niche topics.
A lot less blatant pushing of services, products too
X still has users inactive from 10+ years ago
We can see reposts and likes, reach surely is the next metric to appear
Though perhaps less in your face on posts and maybe separately in a tab so the main feed isn't cluttered
Bluesky is the pulse of the community now.

I guess this is a friendlier community without all the crap, selling and hate everywhere
ie daily active followers is probably much higher on bsky than it is on twitter, and that will change with time (but ideally less intensely than on x!)
