I loved this album. One of my greatest regrets was selling my stereo (turntable, tuner both Technics, amp and equalizer were JVC, Sony for the cassettes, unforgettable what the speakers were, but I used them as end tables), so seeing your turn table makes me a little jealous.
still get goosebumps thinking about seeing them live.
a definite favourite
was fortunate to see them 2x. the first time totally blew me away. amazing sound so crisp and unique
Hide In Your Shell
I love how people fall for that ‘original master recording’. It’s a record. Stamped out like thousands of others. It might be FROM an original master recording but it’s not the original. It is a marketing ploy.
It's to signify it was released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, who goes out of their way to make sure they only release records and CDs made from the highest quality master (usually the original).
This is important because a lot of albums they redo have other versions with different masters.
I bought the album in 1975, off the back of Supertramp releasing 'Dreamer' in UK. Blown away by it. I still listen to it' "Hide in your Shell" is my favourite track.
Great Album, SuperTramp as a band was underrated back in the day IMO, kinda got lost in the plethora of great music that was going on in the mid 70’s to 80.
Wow, kinda cool to get a, “Like” from Roger Hodgson, the singer/songwriter and co-founder of the band SuperTramp. I got to see the band performing live in concert in St. Louis, at the Fox theater in late 1976 or early 77, hard to remember, Thank you Roger for all your fabulous music, I still ❤️ it.

You know you are a dreamer
I love it.
Herb Alpert had a lot of MOR, but he was adventurous as well.
