Thank you, Prof. Murray, for some sad reality. Let's hope the rule of law prevails as it did this week - - for now. The thought that the January 6th insurrectionists "won," and this is now our country, galls half the country to our very souls. A collective anger fills the air.
Dems crave leadership.
Years ago I was stationed on a small naval base in Greece. Our brand new Commander was a trip. Spent his evenings in the e-club, carried on an affair with an 18yr old E-2, got her pregnant, got caught, she refused to testify. He lost his command just as his wife and kids arrived on base.β‘οΈ
His wife had sold the house stateside and was looking forward to getting to live with her husband full time (he normally spent half the year on ship). Donβt know what happened to him since they couldnβt get the victim to testify, but he sure got disappeared from our base in a hurry.
I caught you trying your best to get LtColonel McGrath to explain that the punishment for adultery in the military is court martial. I donβt know why she wouldnβt just say it. Everyone in the military knows this. Thanks for trying.
I encourage all of you to move to independent media. Your mandated sane-washing and minimizing what is happening will only give you more angst and send the wrong message. Do you want democracy back?
Just read Amanda Scales new OPM Chief of Staff, put out several of the threatening memoranda this week. She worked for Elon Musk at xAI. How many other fed agencies had Musk minions installed this week to restructure federal workforce?
I'm fed up with MSNBC sticking lawyers in to replace journalist anchors. It's turned into Trump-Court-TV. For fuck's sake, there are other stories out there being ignored - like Israel's attacks in the West Bank and breaking the ceasefire.
