I use AI art and I agree with this (mostly). I think it's important to distinguish art from illustration. I use illustrations AS illustrations. I'm not trying to move you to tears. I just need you to see what corner of the room the chest is in.

I've always valued the effort required in something. When I can see the effort, I can very easily compare my own talents against it.

It's why I enjoy piano playing even when a computer can easily play any piece perfectly.

Shouldn’t have value in the creations it makes or little to none value in the first place art isn’t an item that is just specifically for one thing to value. It’s the whole thing that needs to be valued and for AI to just make the picture doesn’t explain how much time value real art needs.
