Ukraine currently has the strongest military in Europe. But rearming the rest of the continent will take time. And without U.S. weapons, time is a luxury they don’t have.

If Ru conventional forces were such a threat they would have blitzkrieg'ed Ukraine within a couple of month, well before the rest of the world very slowly armed them.
I’ve served on nuclear forces—I know how deterrence works. But here’s the truth: If the U.S. had honored Budapest, Crimea would be free, and 2014 wouldn’t have led to this war. And let’s not forget—deterrence applies to nuclear threats, not conventional invasions.
