I'm honestly in shock about this and have been since the election.
I thought Kamala was going to sweep. I was hoping she would make it EASIER to get ADHD meds. I was planning and praying for 2025 to be the year I could pull a life together,
and now it's the year I'm losing what little I had

My 94-year-old father-in-law spent most of his career advocating for a biopsychosocial approach to psychiatry, pioneering the use of several then-new meds in his practice. It boggles the mind to see prominent public figures who want to take us back nearly a century.

And if we have to drag god into it, how about he gave us the raw materials and the excellent intelligence to make medicine. Vitamin supplements don't exist in nature to my knowledge but somehow that extremely lucrative industry gets a pass.
